This book is about a missing diamond and a 500 year old necklace. Hero, the main charterer, is the new girl in town. She just figured out that her house had a missing diamond in it. Mrs. Roth, her next door neighbor, told her the news. Hero was fascinated by the news of the diamond, she wanted to hear more. The next time she came over Mrs. Roth gave her more clues to where the diamond was. Then she showed something that shocked Hero. Mrs. Roth showed Hero the 500 year old necklace. Will Hero find the diamond or not? Find out by reading the book. I would recommend this book for 4th through 6th graders. I give this book 5/5 stars.
